Model Description

CREATED BY THE WIND, SHAPED BY HISTORY

The V100 Mandello range welcomes the special edition V100 Mandello Wind Tunnel. The most exclusive roadster in the V100 family is both a celebration of 70 years of the historic Wind Tunnel and a nod to Moto Guzzi’s pioneering role in applying aerodynamics to motorcycles.

Combining the unmistakable style of the House of the Eagle with ultra-advanced technology, the V100 Mandello Wind Tunnel is already destined to become one of the bikes most coveted by Guzzi lovers around the world.

A homage to tradition

Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello Wind Tunnel is a perfect fusion of Italian craftmanship, technological innovation and distinctive design. Its aerodynamic profile, fine-tuned in the Wind Tunnel, is showcased by the striking red livery. One of Moto Guzzi’s most iconic colours creates a bold contrast with the black rear end and front mudguard while the tank is enhanced by champagne-coloured details along the side.

Inspired by the wind

V100 Mandello Wind Tunnel celebrates 70 years since aerodynamics were first applied to two-wheeled vehicles, after which the V100 revolutionised motorcycle design when it became the first bike in the world to incorporate adaptive aerodynamics. The air pressure the rider experiences is reduced by dynamically adjusting the position of the side winglets in response to speed and riding mode. Over 200 hours of calculations and testing in the wind gallery went into finding the perfect compromise between compact dimensions and exceptional comfort.

Towards the futured

V100 Mandello Wind Tunnel is a motorcycle that epitomises innovation and comfort, courtesy of cutting-edge technology such as Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension, bidirectional Quick Shift gear change, IMU, Cornering ABS, TPMS tyre pressure sensors and heated handgrips. On top of all that, the Moto Guzzi MIA multimedia platform connects your smartphone to the bike’s controls via Bluetooth, making it a breeze to handle calls, messages and playlists.
